Tide Expense Card Promotional Offer – Terms & Conditions

  1. Tide Platform Ltd (“Tide”) offers up to 3 Tide Expense Cards for free, for 3 months (“Reward”) to all applicants who meet the Eligibility criteria outlined in clause 2 below (the “Offer”). The Offer is subject to these terms and conditions (“Terms”).
  2. In order to receive the Offer, the applicant must meet the eligibility criteria as follows (“Eligibility”):
    1. Complete the sign-up process using the Promo Code (as defined below in clause 3).  Go to Tide’s official page to see eligibility to open a Tide account.
    2. Follow the steps to complete (“KYC”) checks and successfully open an account between 31st of May 2023 and 30th of June 2023 (“Offer Period”).
    3. Successfully order 1 to 3 Expense cards on the newly opened Tide account by 31st of July 2023.
    4. Hold an active Tide membership and be compliant with all applicable standard terms and conditions for Tide accounts (“Tide Terms”) until receiving the Reward under this Offer pursuant to clause 4.2) below.
  3. The applicant is required to enter the promo code EXPENSES (“Promo Code”);
    1. While signing up for a Tide business bank account during the Offer Period on https://web.tide.co/sign-up/, or
    2. While signing up via the app, or
    3. Retrospectively, the Promo Code can be applied by 30th of June 2023 within the app’s More menu or
    4. By letting us know through the in-app chat by 30th of June 2023.
  4. Reward
    1. Tide Expense Cards cost £5+VAT per month for each active, ordered, or frozen Expense Card associated with your Tide account(s). You will not be charged for each expense card ordered (up to three cards) for three running months.
    2. Any additional cards ordered over the promotional allowance will be charged the normal price for Expense Cards.
    3. Cards ordered after 31st of July 2023 will be charged at normal price.
    4. The 3 month free period will start from the point the card is ordered.
    5. You will be charged the normal rate of £5+VAT after the 3 month period of the reward. This fee will be billed in the first week of each calendar month.
    6. It can take 4-5 weeks after you have met the Eligibility criteria outlined in clause 2 for the Reward to be validated and be applied to the new member’s account.
    7. Paid Plans:
      1. Members that take out a paid plan will receive a £5 credit back for each expense card they take out as part of their plan up to the promotional allowance of 3 cards, for 3 months.

  5. Other
    1. This Offer applies to new Tide members only. No existing Tide members will be eligible for this Offer.
    2. To open an account participants will, among others, be required to have Internet access, a valid UK phone number and address, and hold a compatible device registered to a UK App or Google Play store.
    3. Applications will be subject to a client verification process and onboarding checks according to Tide’s processes and the standard terms and conditions applicable to Tide accounts available here: https://tide-marketing-site-wip.tide.co/terms/.
    4. Tide reserves its discretion to approve/not approve any application in accordance with its processes and the standard account terms and conditions and shall not be required to provide any reasons or be held responsible that any applicant has not been approved for whatever reason for a Tide account.
    5. Participation in this Offer is restricted to one (1) per Tide account.
    6. We encourage participants to check these Terms regularly as we reserve the right to amend the Terms and to withdraw referral schemes, competitions and promotions at any time. Your continued use of our services shall constitute your acceptance of any such amendments.
    7. An applicant must use the Offer as intended by Tide and must not use their Promo Code as a means to generate income or business.
    8. We reserve the right to reverse any Reward you receive during this Offer if (i) the Reward was earned fraudulently, or (ii) it is found that you have breached the Terms or the Tide Terms in relation to holding a Tide account.
    9. If we have reasonable grounds to believe that you have engaged in any fraud or material abuse of this Offer (such as for example attempting to deliberately mislead Tide Member Support to gain the Reward) we may in our sole discretion take any actions we see fit in the circumstances.
    10. Tide reserves its right to open a Tide Membership Account for you only after you have passed our KYC checks as per the Tide Membership T&Cs. Tide shall not be required to provide any reason or be held responsible that any applicant has not been approved for a Tide account by the closing date of the Offer.
