How do I close my account?

You can close your account anytime through your Tide app by tapping ‘Support’ > ‘Messages’. Here you can ask our team to close your account for you.

It’s best to make sure your account balance is £0 and you’ve cancelled any ongoing payments, such as direct debits.

If you close your account before moving your funds, we’ll transfer any funds in your account to you by bank transfer.

We’ll also send you a copy of your full transaction history by email within 10 days. You can ask for this again at any point within five years of closing your account if you need. Just email us at  to get this information.
